ISU prepares to take on the Bradley Braves - Basketball College

The ISU men's basketball team will return to the court at 7:35 p.m. today to face the Bradley Braves in the first of a three-game home stand.

ISU is coming off of a 83-56 blowout at the hands of nationally ranked Northern Iowa and sit at 9-12 (2-11 MVC) on the college basketball season.

Bradley is currently 13-8 (7-6 MVC) and is coming off a 70-62 loss to Missouri State.

The Braves college basketball team are a very weak road team, posting a record of just 2-7 away from Peoria.

The Braves are led by 6-foot-7 senior forward Marcellus Sommerville, who averages 15 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Seven-foot sophomore center Patrick O'Bryant averages 12.2 points and almost eight rebounds per game to go along with three blocked shots per game.

In ISU's last contest against Bradley, the Sycamores blew a 40-35 halftime lead and ended up falling 85-63 in Peoria, Ill.

The Sycamores were paced by freshman Jay Tunnell's 18 points while the Braves also received 18 points from O'Bryant. ISU junior guard Eric Gray chipped in 10 points during his first action of the 2005-06 season.
